ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Bills were trailing Miami in the 4th quarter Sunday when Josh Allen completed a 98-yard drive with a touchdown.

The Bills then elected to go for a 2-point conversion. Josh Allen started with the football, and a man from Rochester ended the play with it.

"Oh my god, it's coming right at us, I got this!"

Those are not the words of a professional football player, but rather of Clyde Gillam, a Bills fan and the proud new owner of an NFL game ball.

"I never took my eyes off the ball, it hit me right in the chest,” Gillam said, "it was the finest pass I've ever seen and probably the highlight of my football career. What a surreal moment!"

The play itself was a huge moment for the Bills. They never trailed again in the game, and it was a huge moment for Gillam as well.

"At first it was so surreal, I couldn't believe I caught it, once I got up and it wasn't a dream everybody said stand up I was having fun with it and posing for pictures," Gillam said.

The moment was pretty surreal for the guy who threw the football too.

“It was one of those moments where I had a lot of stuff going through me and those fans in the top row were yelling really loud,” Bills quarterback Josh Allen said, “so I wanted to throw them a souvenir."

"They've always been my team,” Gillam said, “I've always loved them, they bring such joy to me, to have this from Josh Allen, thank you, Josh, I'm going to cherish it."
