Congressman Chris Collins will not appear in federal court next week.

Instead, his attorneys will represent him next Thursday in New York City. They say Collins will be in the Buffalo area that day because October is a district work month for Congress.

Collins is facing charges of insider trading and lying to the FBI. He pleaded not guilty to the charges back in August.
