NUNDA, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Livingston County Judge has resigned amidst disciplinary charges.
The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct says Judge James Mann is no longer a judge for the Town and Village of Nunda.
He’s served as a judge since 2000.
The disciplinary charges are related to an incident that happened in 2016 when Mann allegedly tried to get his brother-in-law out of a field sobriety test when he was stopped in Mount Morris.
A condition of his resignation is that Mann will never seek or accept election as a judge ever again.
