ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A judge ruled against the mother of Trevyan Rowe, the teen with autism who died after wandering away from his school in 2018.
The state Supreme Court in Monroe County ruled that Carrie Houston cannot sue the Rochester City School District or the City of Rochester over her son's death.
Rowe walked away from School 12 on South Avenue on March 8, 2018. His body was found in the Genesee River three days later.
Houston sued the Rochester City School District and the City of Rochester last year.
The judge also dismissed some claims brought by the estate of Trevyan Rowe.
