Judge upholds Syracuse University suspensions of frat brothers

A judge upheld the suspensions of Theta Tau fraternity brothers who were ousted by Syracuse University last year over offensive videos that made national headlines.

According to Syracuse.com, the Jefferson County Supreme Court Justice ruled SU was "clearly within its guidelines" when the university issued the suspensions.

SU initially suspended 18 members of the frat after videos surfaced showing them perform in offensive, racist skits.

Ten of the brothers then sued, asking the judge to reverse their punishments.
