ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The jury has been seated in the case of a man accused of robbing the Xerox Federal Credit Union and killing a man in the process.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says that a full jury has been seated for the trial of Richard Wilbern, and opening arguments and testimony will begin on Thursday. Jury selection had begun last Wednesday.
Wilbern is accused of robbing the Xerox Federal Credit Union in August 2003, fatally shooting Raymond Batzel in the process. Another man was also shot during the Webster robbery, but survived. Wilbern evaded police for 13 years before his capture in 2016.
