ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Jurors have resumed deliberating in the trial against a former Webster teacher and coach accused of rape.

The jury was unable to reach a decision in the Kali Watkins case on Friday.

Watkins is accused of raping a 14-year-old player on his JV girls basketball team. He's charged with first- and second-degree rape.

A juror in the trial was replaced by an alternate Friday after she ran into an attorney she knew before deliberations started and told her she was a member of the jury and it was "terrible."

Jury deliberations resumed around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
