BOSTON, N.Y. (WHEC) -- A western New York veterinary clinic is hoping for justice after two kittens were thrown from a moving car Tuesday night.

According to the Boston Veterinary Clinic, the kittens were thrown from the car around 7 p.m. on Boston State Road in Boston, New York, which is located just 25 miles southeast of Buffalo.

Our Buffalo affiliate, WGRZ, says Megan Armbruster and her mother Marla Armbruster found the kittens, Cici and Sophie. They brought them into the clinic Wednesday morning for a full exam.

Cici and Sophie were very thin when they were brought in and now have a long road to recovery, according to the clinic.
