GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — A new group is rallying to bring changes to high water issues on Lake Ontario.
The Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River Alliance met on Saturday at the Greece Community Center. Organizers gauged the interest of home and business owners in joining a potential lawsuit.
The group told News10NBC they are speaking to law firms about taking their case. They are looking to sue over the flooding problems from the past year.
Many members blame plan 2014, the IJC's plan for regulating lake levels.
In June, the IJC acknowledged issues with Plan 2014 but told the community not to expect fast changes to the plan.
