Language expanded in indictments of Charlie Tan

New indictments with more expansive language have been issued against Charlie Tan in federal court, although no new charges have been made.

Tan, who had murder charges related to the death of his father Jim Tan dismissed in November of 2015 and had his case featured on Dateline, has been facing federal gun charges related to how he received firearms connected to the incident.

The charges facing Tan are Receiving Firearm with Intent to Commit an Offense, False Statement During Purchase of a Firearm, and False Statement During Purchase of a Firearm.
