Deputies: No leads in Livingston County manhunt

July 23, 2018 06:42 AM

It appears the search for a man considered armed and dangerous in Livingston County has gone cold.

Deputies have been looking for 49-year-old David Clyde Morgan since Wednesday when he's accused of pointing a gun on a Geneseo police officer during a traffic stop on Rte. 63. He was last seen running into a cornfield.

Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty sent out a Facebook message Sunday saying, "We have no leads on his location and no idea where he is. I wish I had better news to report."

Morgan has a violent past and has served 15 years in federal prison.

Deputies are asking anyone who sees Morgan to not approach him and immediately call 911.
