SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (WHEC) — The deadly Schoharie limousine crash is still being argued in court.

The lawyers who represent the limo company's operator are arguing the people who died should have known the risks they faced when they climbed into the limo.

A wrongful death lawsuit was filed on behalf of the passenger who rented the limo.

According to the Albany Times Union, lawyers for Nauman Hussain claim their client is not responsible for the crash, because the victims should have known the limo was dangerous.

Twenty people were killed in the crash in October 2018.

A final report from the National Transportation Safety Board on the crash will be issued next month.
