The suspect that is still on the run after deputies say he pulled a gun on a Geneseo police officer during a traffic stop on State Route 63 last month, has been charged.

Forty-nine-year-old David Clyde Morgan has been charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. The charge carries with it a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, and a fine of $250,000.

Morgan has been on the run for nearly three weeks.

Investigators recently released dash cam video of the incident that led to the manhunt for Morgan.

Investigators say he was outside the car when he grabbed the weapon during the traffic stop. The officer responded by firing one round.

Morgan's passenger, his girlfriend Sandra Brown, was also outside the car screaming that she didn't have a gun while Morgan escaped. She was taken into custody. Brown said their plan was to have officers shoot at them then run away and meet each other later.

Again, Morgan is considered armed and dangerous. If you see Morgan you are asked to stay away and immediately call 911.
