Livingston County is no longer under a "no unnecessary travel" advisory as of noon on Saturday.
In a message sent out around 5:33 a.m. on Saturday, Sheriff Tom Dougherty had noted that deputies have continued to handle several vehicles sliding off the road, and that road conditions have continued to be snow-covered, with ice underneath causing further driving challenges.
The advisory did not require a restriction on travel, but did advise that hazardous conditions exist and that no unnecessary travel is recommended.
