Another driver that was traveling the Same stretch of road Saturday tells News10NBC she almost struck the same woman because she was in completely dark clothing, something police have confirmed.

Something reflective shined off the woman’s body at the last second, and the driver swerved out of the way.

A business owner nearby says a lot of people walk this dangerous stretch of road.

“It’s tough with the speed limit here and we don’t have a ton of street lights here,” said Shawn Griffin, owner of Griffs Brewery.
“It’s a shock, it’s an absolute shock.”

Sean Yantz, manager of A Gust of Sun Winery tells News10NBC there needs to be “more lights.”

“We need a different speed zone over here,” said Yantz. “Maybe carry the 45 through this whole area.”

Officer Klump is said to be cooperating with law officials in this case.
