Man accused of hacking accounts of young women pleads guilty

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC)- A Rochester man accused of hacking into the online accounts of young women and stealing their personal photos has pleaded guilty.

In 2016, police said Justin Potts filmed a woman getting dressed at Zoom Tan on Park Avenue. During their investigation, the FBI says it found 450 computer files, accessed through hacked email accounts.

Investigators say many of the files contained nude or revealing images of the young women. 

Federal authorities believe than are more than 100 victims.

Potts is now facing a maximum of five years in prison at sentencing.
