Man accused of stealing from gas station, punching employee after argument

PENFIELD, N.Y. (WHEC) – A Rochester man is facing charges after he allegedly stole items from a Penfield gas station and punched an employee.

Antonio Hepburn, 40, was charged with third-degree robbery and second-degree harassment.


Deputies said Hepburn got into an argument with an employee at the Fastrac on Browncroft Boulevard over his food order on Wednesday. 

Hepburn allegedly went behind the counter, stole food items, and fled. When the employee ran after Hepburn to confront him, Hepburn allegedly punched him in the face multiple times.

Deputies stopped Hepburn's vehicle in the area of Browncroft Boulevard and White Village and took him into custody.

The victim was taken to Rochester General Hospital for minor injuries.

Hepburn was remanded to Monroe County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
