Rochester man arrested following Bernard St. fatal shooting

Rochester Police arrested a man following a deadly shooting earlier this week.

On Wednesday, police responded to Bernard Street for a 65-year-old man who had been shot. The victim, Thomas Hardaway of Rochester, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, police announced that 24-year-old Paul Horn of Rochester was arrested and charged with murder and robbery. According to the criminal complaint, Hardaway was shot during the course of a robbery and Horn confessed.

A second suspect, 20-year-old Tysean Rumph, was also arrested. Rumph was charged with second degree murder and robbery. He was arraigned on Saturday, Sept. 30.
