Back in August, a jury convicted 18-year-old Kyrell Gilroy of two counts manslaughter in the first degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. He was acquitted of second-degree murder charges.
In September 2018, Gilroy shot and killed Justin Siler, 26, and Markwaun Williams, 24, on Wilkins Street in Rochester.
Gilroy was sentenced to 50 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision.
