ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- The man accused of beating a Rochester father and leaving him to die was indicted on a first-degree manslaughter charge.
Tiquane Pratt, 27, of Rochester, was originally charged with murder for the death of 39-year-old Jason Wilder.
Police say Wilder was brutally beaten and left unconscious in the street on Clifford Avenue near North Goodman Street back on July 13.
Wilder was rushed to Strong Hospital where he later died.
After his death, grieving family members spoke with News10NBC.
"I want everybody who played a part in it arrested. Everybody. Cuz that was a real person. That was a human being. That was a father, you know and that was uncalled for and I'm just heartbroken. My family's heartbroken," said LaShawn Williams, Wilder's Cousin.
