GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC)- A 24-year-old man was shot in his thumb during an incident Friday night that Greece Police are investigating as a robbery and assault.
According to Greece Police Department Deputy Chief Andrew Forsythe, the shooting occurred near 135 Holyoke Street around 10:30 on Friday night. The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for the injury to his thumb.
Some of the victim's property- including his keys and some other personal effects- are missing, Forsythe says.
