ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- Milo, who has been deemed "the goodest boy and world's best bat dog" is coming to Frontier Field with a very important message.

The loving golden retriever is teaming up with the Rochester Red Wings this Saturday to raise money for the Wounded Veterans Foundation (WVF) as part of Military Appreciation Night.

Milo will work innings 1-6 and every time Milo retrieves a bat, the Red Wings will donate $25 to the WVF. Fans can pledge a dollar amount per retrieval at a table set up in the main breezeway.

The Wings will also be selling a Milo T-shirt. For every shirt purchased, $7 will be donated to the WVF.

You can purchase one online or in person on Saturday.

All veterans or active military members can receive free tickets to Military Appreciation Night. The free tickets can only be received in advance at the Veterans Outreach Center at 447 South Avenue in Rochester.

And the best part-- fans who donate will be able to meet the incredible canine at the end of the game.
