AVON/GENESEO, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Monroe County man is facing charges after deputies say he stole lawn care equipment from two different stores in Livingston County.

Deputies say Nicholas D'Augustino stole a gas-powered backpack blower from the Tractor Supply Store in Geneseo on May 26. He allegedly stole another backpack blower and a gas-powered string trimmer on June 12.

He's also accused of stealing a concrete saw worth over $1,000 from Landpro Equipment in Avon on June 17.

D'Augustino was taken into custody Thursday by Livingston County Sheriff's deputies after he was released from the Monroe County Jail on unrelated charges.

He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts of petit larceny.

D'Augustino is in the Livingston County Jail on $5,750 cash bail or $11,500 bond.
