ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office is receiving $183,108 in Department of Justice funding.
The money will go toward addressing the shortage of board-certified forensic pathologists and aims to improve medical examiner-coroner services by supporting efforts toward agency accreditation.
The money was part of a $1.2 million effort to combat drugs and crime in the Western District of New York.
