Motorcyclist seriously injured in Williamson crash

State police are investigating after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash in Williamson.

Just before 2 p.m. Friday, a motorcyclist was traveling westbound on State Route 104, between Town Line Road and Pound Road, when the operator failed to stop for a minivan, in front of the motorcycle, which was stopped and attempting to make a left turn.

The motorcyclist was taken to Rochester General Hospital with serious injuries. The passenger of the minivan was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the minivan was not injured.

State Route 104 in the area will be shut down for several hours as the investigation continues.
