Victor, N.Y. – The Friends of Ganondagan are hosting the 27th Annual Native American Dance and Music Festival this weekend. Yesterday’s schedule was filled with Iroquois social dancing, storytelling, and music. Gary Farmer and the Troublemakers from Santa Fe, N.M. are the headlining act for Saturday and Sunday. The festival also includes the Hodinöshö:ni’ Art Show—a juried exhibit showcasing original jewelry, baskets, and fine art made in the Haudenosaunee tradition. The festival will continue today at the Ganondagan State Historic Site from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (http://ganondagan.org/)
