NXIVM case set to become a movie

ALBANY, N.Y. (WHEC) — The case surrounding the alleged NXIVM sex cult in Albany is set to become a movie.

The leader of the alleged cult, Keith Raniere, was found guilty on all charges in Brooklyn last month.

According to CNN, the potential Lifetime movie's executive producer is Catherine Oxenberg. The "Dynasty" actress fought to get her daughter out of the cult for years.

The film's working title is currently "NXIVM Cult: A Mother's Nightmare."

Raniere will be played by "Twilight" actor Peter Facinelli.

The movie is scheduled to premiere on Lifetime this fall.
