The State Senate passed a bill to allow cameras on school bus stop arms.
The cameras would be used to record drivers who illegally pass stopped school buses.
Lawmakers say more than of 50,000 drivers pass school buses every day across New York.
It could cost you a $250 fine.
The bill now goes to the State Assembly but it must pass before the end of the legislative session Wednesday.
