ALBANY, N.Y. (WHEC)— New York is beefing up security in our state capitol after several threats.
As the FBI warns of protests nationwide leading up to President-elect Joe Biden's Jan.20 inauguration, the state Capitol building in Albany is already closed to the public, and most lawmakers
State Attorney General Letitia James says her office is monitoring the threats and will be ready to bring legal action against anyone who intends to do harm.
Last week, a protest in Albany ended with a double stabbing, four arrests, and the injury of a State Trooper.
