PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WHEC) — The 2019 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is back at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford.
Many people plan to head out to see some of the best golfers from around the world try to win the historic and prestigious major.
Opening day is Tuesday, but the grounds at Oak Hill are already bustling.
News10NBC's Brennan Somers spoke with Bryan Karns, the championship director for the PGA of America, a day before the tournament kicks off.
"Today is just kind of about putting on all the finishing touches," said Karns. "This is the last day before we open to the public, so it's crossing all the 'T's, dotting the 'I's, really getting ready for when we open the gates tomorrow."
The tournament runs through Sunday, May 26.
News10NBC is the official home of Senior PGA Championship coverage. We'll have live reports from Oak Hill and complete coverage on Whec.com.
