(WHEC) — The Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a suspect known to visit the Rochester and Finger Lakes areas.

The PSP say on Aug. 13 a woman was found dead from a gunshot to the head in a home in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

The residents of the home were Richard and Patricia Walski and their dog, a 5-year-old chocolate Labrador retriever named Yukon.

Troopers haven’t been able to locate Richard or the dog.

Troopers say Walski is an avid fisherman who frequents many fishing areas in New York State including the Finger Lakes, Oswego, Hampton Harbor, the Watertown area and the Genesee River in Rochester.

In Pennsylvania, he frequents fishing locations along the Susquehanna River from the Wilkes Barre area to Towanda and has a cabin in Noxen Township, Wyoming County, PA.

Troopers are asking anyone who may have crossed paths with him since July 31, 2020, to call PSP at 570-697-2000.
