Park Ave Fest 2019: Road closures, parking information

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The 43rd edition of the Park Ave Summer Art Fest, featuring handmade local and regional arts and crafts, food, and entertainment, takes place this weekend!

WHEN & WHERE

The festival stretches a full 1¼ miles from the west end of Alexander Street to the east end of Culver Road. It runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

ROAD CLOSURES

Park Avenue between Alexander Street and Culver Road will be closed from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3. It will also be closed on Sunday, Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. 

PARKING

One-side parking will be allowed during the festival along neighborhood side streets. Free parking is also available behind Gleason Works on University Avenue and at Monroe Square on Monroe Avenue. 

Off-street parking is also being offered by the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation located at 962 East Ave. between Berkeley and Barrington streets. Public parking in the church lots is $5 per car.

Limited handicap parking is available at Parkleigh, located at Park Avenue and Goodman Street.

SHUTTLES

Roundtrip shuttle service is available on a continuous basis from the festival’s free parking lots listed above beginning 30 minutes before the start of the festival through 1 hour after the festival ends. 

One shuttle on each route is handicapped accessible. 

The cost of the shuttle is $3.
