ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) -- A former substitute teacher for the Penn Yan Central School District pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
In May 2018, federal prosecutors say the FBI's Los Angeles office conducted a search warrant. A person inside the home admitted to using social networking websites to trade child pornography with others. Investigators linked Jeffrey Maciejewski, 26, of Penn Yan, and other suspects to the child pornography trade.
During an FBI interview, prosecutors say Maciejewski admitted to trading child pornography online.
Investigators say he had more than 600 images and videos of child pornography, some of which included photos showing the sexual abuse of infants and toddlers.
Maciejewski faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He is scheduled to be sentenced in February.
