State Police announced Thursday that they are investigating a suspicious death at a hotel owned by the same man who owns Prestige Limo of Saratoga Springs.

The company is under extreme scrutiny after one of its cars was involved in last weekend's crash that killed 20 people.

On Wednesday, troopers were called to the Crest Inn and Suites in Wilton, New York which is owned by Shahed Hussain.

On Saturday, one of Hussain's limos was taking a group of people to a birthday party in Schoharie when it crashed.

News10NBC later discovered that the limo company posted a vehicle for sale on Craigslist matching the description of the one involved in the fatal accident. The ad was only posted two days prior to the crash.

Eighteen people in the limo and two pedestrians died.

State Police say at this time, the hotel death does not have a connection to the owner or the business.

However, the limo owner's son, Nauman Hussain, who is a service operator of the business has since been charged with criminally negligent homicide in relation to the crash.
