Police search for 2 suspects involved in Clifford Ave. hit-and-run

The Rochester Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash on the city's north side.

Officers tried pulling over a suspicious vehicle, a Buick Rendezvous, Saturday night just before 10 p.m. in the area of First Street and Clifford Ave.

Police say the Buick took off and rounded the corner onto Renwood Street and crossed onto Clifford Ave. hitting a Honda Pilot. The passengers of that car, a 57-year-old woman, was transported to Rochester General Hospital with minor injuries.

The Buick did not stop after the crash until it pulled over on Coleman Terrace where two men got out of the vehicle and ran.

The passenger of the car struck, a 57-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Rochester General Hospital.

The Buick continued driving until it stopped on Coleman Terrace where two males ran from the vehicle.

Officers searched the areas with a K9 team, but could not locate the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
