Rochester Police identify stabbing victim; death ruled homicide

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are investigating a homicide after a Rochester man was stabbed on the city's north side Sunday.

Investigators say 38-year-old Durron Williams was found stabbed in the driver's seat of a vehicle around 5:40 p.m. on Wilkins Street. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators believe Williams was stabbed in the area of Friederich Park.

There is no suspect information at this time.
