IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the stomach at a convenience store Sunday morning.
Ronald Pecora, 33, of Irondequoit, was arrested after he allegedly shot the 26-year-old victim at a 7-Eleven on Titus Avenue around 11:30 a.m.
Police say the Pecora and and the victim know each other.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. He's currently listed in stable but critical condition.
Pecora was charged with assault in the first degree and is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail.
