The 18-year-old girl who was shot on Delamine Drive near Carter Street in Rochester is pronounced dead.
Rochester police say Ciara Grimes was shot about 12 a.m. Wednesday.
She was found outside in the driveway. People were outside with her then ran inside, according to police.
Grimes was transported to URMC where she was later pronounced dead.
Officers received information that Grimes may have been shot inside of the residence.
A SWAT team brought one man, two women, and an infant out of the home after they refused to come out. Investigators say they are being questioned.
Neighbors stood by and watched it all unfold.
"It doesn't teach these kids anything better for our city," neighbor Adrionna Ellison said. "It's terrible. It's bad. It's a bad way to wake them up in the morning to see all this."
The weapon has not been found, according to investigators, and a warrant has been issued to search the home.Stay with News10NBC on-air and online for more on this developing story.
