Police: Spencerport man stole purse from neighbor’s home

A Spencerport man is facing charges after police say he entered his neighbor’s home and stole money. 

Ogden Police say 26-year-old Trip Koroly entered his neighbor’s home on Monday morning while she was outside working in her yard. According to police, Koroly had a backpack and gave the woman a complex excuse for being in her home.

Police say the woman later found that her purse and cash were missing. Officers obtained a search warrant and say they found the stolen property inside Koroly’s home.

Koroly was arrested and charged with burglary, grand larceny, and petit larceny. He was arraigned in Ogden Town Court and sent to the Monroe County Jail.
