'Possible resolution' in bribery case against former state assemblyman

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There's a "possible resolution" in the bribery case against former state Assemblyman Joe Errigo, according to court records.

Prosecutors allege Errigo and lobbyist Robert Scott Gaddy took more than $10,000 to introduce a bill in the Assembly, which never passed.

A request obtained by News10NBC from Errigo's attorney asks the judge for more time to file motions, and says they are "working with the government towards a possible resolution of this case."

Errigo pleaded not guilty in February to four counts including conspiracy, bribery and honest services wire fraud.If convicted, Errigo faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
