Pregnant inmate faces more charges

The pregnant inmate who deputies say escaped custody at Strong Hospital is facing more charges.

Aliyah Burden was indicted by a grand jury on charges of escape, reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing a police officer and petit larceny.

She was arrested last month for shoplifting and violating her probation.

Burden was eight months pregnant at the time.

Deputies say Burden was taken to Strong for stomach pains and manged to distract the deputy guarding her. She was arrested hours later outside the parking garage.
