Prosecutors file new paperwork in case against Congressman Chris Collins

NEW YORK (WHEC) -- Federal Prosecutors filed new paperwork in their case against local Congressman Chris Collins.

Investigators say Collins was on the board of an Australian firm when he learned information that led to insider trading.

Attorneys for Collins want some evidence in the case, including information from an Ipad thrown out.

Prosecutors defend their seizure of evidence in the court paperwork obtained by News10NBC. 

Collins maintains he's innocent.
