ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Prosecutors are urging a judge to finally send former Congressman Chris Collins to prison.
Collins has once again requested a delay due to the pandemic. His lawyers also asked the judge to modify his sentence and allow him to serve time in home confinement.
Collins was sentenced to 26-months in prison back in January, after pleading guilty to insider trading charges and lying to law enforcement.
Prosecutors say the threat of COVID-19 is higher outside of prison walls.
