BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) -- There is a new fight over the Whole Foods project in Brighton.
A group opposed to the project now claims the town undercharged the developers by hundreds of thousands of dollars.
That's according to our news partner, the Rochester Business Journal.
Brighton Grassroots has issued a statement this week in an effort to block the project.
The Town of Brighton and the developers, the Daniele family, deny the properties are under-assessed.
Construction on the Whole Foods development is expected to begin late this summer.
