ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester City School District's projected August graduation rate is the highest it has been in two decades.
Based on preliminary data and August graduation results, the August 2019 projected graduation rate is 62.6% — a 3.3% increase from the previous year.
"While this is a significant achievement, we must continue our laser-like focus on teaching and learning to provide high-quality instruction in every one of our schools," superintendent Terry Dade said in a statement.
