Max wind gusts have been reported over 70 mph in the Rochester area with a gust up to 74 mph seen in Batavia.
Winds will continue to be breezy overnight with conditions picking up again for a few hours Monday morning before we gradually see improvements through Monday afternoon.
More wind gusts up to 65 mph will be likely around sunrise from the northwest off of the lakeshore. These winds are high enough to result in downed trees and power outages.
Areas north of 104 will see higher winds into Monday morning as well as higher elevations into the Finger Lakes as the winds progress further east.
We are also under a Freezing Spray Warning for the immediate lakeshore due to wave spray coming off of Lake Ontario.
Blowing snow will also continue through Sunday night with a few inches possible west and southwest of Rochester in Genesee and Wyoming counties where a winter weather advisory has been issued by the NWS through 1 p.m. Monday.
