ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A new report suggests the Cuomo Administration was tracking the location of nursing home residents who died of COVID-19 since at least April of last year.
Fox News obtained a New York State Department of Health document that indicates nursing homes were required to submit the number of residents who died from COVID-19 at least once a day.
According to the report, a new field was added to that form on April 19, 2020, that required nursing homes to report the resident's place of death.
The administration had previously claimed that nursing home deaths couldn't be verified because of the fact that many nursing home residents died at the hospital rather than in their nursing home.
