According to a post on the organization's Facebook post, a 1-year-old pit bull named Hazel and an 8-year-old Labrador named Ubu were allegedly poisoned on Saturday on Regina Drive near Gravel Road.

The Facebook post from K9 Orphans Incorporated reports that another home in the Regina Drive neighborhood received a letter threatening their dogs.

News10NBC reached out to a spokesperson for Lollypop Farm and the Humane Society of Greater Rochester.

In an email, Associate Director of Communications Ashley Zeh wrote:  "I can confirm we are investigating. However, I can't comment any further at this time. I will let you know when I get more details as the investigation progresses."
