The Catholic Family Center revealed its new Restart Outpatient Integrated Care Facility Tuesday.
Medical services are expanding along with medication assisted treatment to fight the opioid epidemic.
The facility was renovated with more than $8 million of support from the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
"This is all bittersweet right? I wish I could say we don't need these services, but unfortunately that's not the case," said Arlene Gonzalez-Sanchez, Commissioner of the NY State OASAS. "We really are blessed that we have people that support our vision that understand our mission."
The Catholic Family Center says there will also be new medical staff positions to support the new renovations and expansion of programs at the Restart Facility.
