RIT hosted the National Penetration Testing Competition on Saturday.

Students are scored on how well they hack in and what kind of plans they develop to make the systems more secure in the future.

RIT reported there is intense demand, and a lot of jobs, for students who master cyber security skills.

They were not breaking into any real networks, the networks were set up just for the competition.

The competition wraps up on Sunday.
